Basic Packet Consolidation Protocol.<\/strong> This<br \/>\nprotocol provides the procedures and\u00a0messages to carry<br \/>\nmultiple upper layer payloads in one MAC Layer packet.<\/p>\n<p><strong>2. Basic Superframe Preamble MAC Protocol.<\/strong> This<br \/>\nsection provides the procedures and\u00a0messages for the operation<br \/>\nof the channels transmitted on the superframe preamble.<\/p>\n<p><strong>3. Basic Access Channel MAC Protocol.<\/strong> This<br \/>\nsection provides the procedures and\u00a0messages for the operation<br \/>\nof the reverse access channel.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>4. Basic Forward Link Control Segment MAC<br \/>\nProtocol.<\/strong> This section provides the\u00a0procedures and<br \/>\nmessages for the operation of the channels transmitted on the<br \/>\nforward link\u00a0control segment.<\/p>\n<p><strong>5. Basic Forward Traffic Channel MAC Protocol.<\/strong><br \/>\nThis section provides the procedures\u00a0and messages for the<br \/>\noperation of the forward data channel.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>6. Basic Reverse Control Channel MAC Protocol.<\/strong><br \/>\nThis section provides the procedures\u00a0and messages for the<br \/>\noperation of all the reverse link control channels except the<br \/>\nreverse\u00a0access channel.<\/p>\n<p><strong>7.
