In this<br \/>\ndocument, \u2018mobile station&#039; refers to a subscriber terminal,<br \/>\nhandset, PDA, wireless local loop unit, or any other subscriber<br \/>\nterminal that communicates with the base station at the air<br \/>\ninterface. \u2018Base station&#039; refers to the composite functionality of<br \/>\nthe base station and connected network elements or emulators.<\/p>\n<p>Execution Strategy: Separate signaling conformance tests are<br \/>\nspecified for mobile stations. Tests are typically performed using<br \/>\nan emulator to interface with the unit under test, with a cabled<br \/>\nconnection for the RF interface.
