{"id":632372,"date":"2024-11-06T00:37:50","date_gmt":"2024-11-06T00:37:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pdfstandards.shop\/product\/uncategorized\/iso-iec-14443-32018\/"},"modified":"2024-11-06T00:37:50","modified_gmt":"2024-11-06T00:37:50","slug":"iso-iec-14443-32018","status":"publish","type":"product","link":"https:\/\/pdfstandards.shop\/product\/publishers\/iso\/iso-iec-14443-32018\/","title":{"rendered":"ISO\/IEC 14443-3:2018"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This document describes the following:<\/p>\n<p>&#8211;      polling for proximity cards or objects (PICCs) entering the field of a proximity coupling device (PCD);<\/p>\n<p>&#8211;      the byte format, the frames and timing used during the initial phase of communication between PCDs and PICCs;<\/p>\n<p>&#8211;      the initial Request and Answer to Request command content;<\/p>\n<p>&#8211;      methods to detect and communicate with one PICC among several PICCs (anticollision);<\/p>\n<p>&#8211;      other parameters required to initialize communications between a PICC and PCD;<\/p>\n<p>&#8211;      optional means to ease and speed up the selection of one PICC among several PICCs based on application criteria;<\/p>\n<p>&#8211;      optional capability to allow a device to alternate between the functions of a PICC and a PCD to communicate with a PCD or a PICC, respectively.
