These elements are expressed as the oxides Na<sub>2<\/sub>O, SiO<sub>2<\/sub>, Fe2O<sub>3<\/sub>, CaO, TiO<sub>2<\/sub>, P<sub>2<\/sub>O<sub>5<\/sub>, V<sub>2<\/sub>O<sub>5<\/sub>, ZnO, MnO, Ga<sub>2<\/sub>O<sub>3<\/sub>, K2O, CuO, Cr<sub>2<\/sub>O<sub>3<\/sub>, and NiO on an un-dried sample basis. The method is applicable to smelting-grade aluminium oxide.
