{"id":362527,"date":"2024-10-20T01:40:57","date_gmt":"2024-10-20T01:40:57","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pdfstandards.shop\/product\/uncategorized\/bsi-20-30425534-dc-2020\/"},"modified":"2024-10-26T02:39:01","modified_gmt":"2024-10-26T02:39:01","slug":"bsi-20-30425534-dc-2020","status":"publish","type":"product","link":"https:\/\/pdfstandards.shop\/product\/publishers\/bsi\/bsi-20-30425534-dc-2020\/","title":{"rendered":"BSI 20\/30425534 DC 2020"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This document defines requirements for the fabrication, welding, inspection, examination and testing of new, metallic piping systems up to 69&nbsp;000 kPa (ga) maximum, within temperature range limits for the materials meeting the requirements of <span class=\"std\"><span class=\"std-ref\">ASME B31.3:2018<\/span><\/span>, on fixed and floating offshore production facilities and onshore production, processing and gas liquefaction plants.<\/p>\n<p>This document is applicable to all pressure retaining components and any non-pressure retaining component, such as a pipe support, welded directly to a pressure retaining component.<\/p>\n<p>This document is not applicable to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p>marine-related piping systems, e.g. ballasting piping systems, systems covered by classification societies;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>metallic tubing with a maximum wall thickness of 6,0 mm and internal diameter of 50,8 mm, used for subsea umbilical systems;<\/p>\n<div class=\"non-normative-note\">\n<div class=\"note-label\">\n    NOTE 1\n   <\/div>\n<p>Reference can be made to <span class=\"std\"><span class=\"std-ref\">ISO 13628-5<\/span><\/span> or <span class=\"std\"><span class=\"std-ref\">API Spec 17E<\/span><\/span> for welding and examination of these components.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>piping systems with corrosion resistant cladding (either integrally clad or mechanically lined) or weld overlay, including buttering and associated dissimilar welds;<\/p>\n<div class=\"non-normative-note\">\n<div class=\"note-label\">\n    NOTE 2\n   <\/div>\n<p>Reference can be made to DNVGL-RP-B204 for welding and examination of these systems.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>refractory alloys (with exception of CP titanium Grade 1 (UNS R50250) or Grade 2 (UNS R50400));<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>non-metallic piping assemblies;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>transportation pipeline systems, including flowlines, designed in accordance with a recognized pipeline design code.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p><b>BS EN ISO 13703-3.
