It specifies the essential dimensions for accurate engagement with the film, and gives recommended dimensions in respect of the form of the teeth.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>NOTE. The dimensions of sound-head sprockets are normally similar to those given in this standard for feed sprockets.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>16-tooth intermittent, and 16-tooth, 24-tooth, 32-tooth feed, sound head and hold-back sprockets for use with cellulose nitrate film and cellulose acetate film. Dimensions for accurate engagement with film, minimize film wear, visual performance; dimensions for form of teeth.
